|

Hi,
Can anyone advise me what I am doing wrong.I 'm afraid that I am not very computer literate so a step by step solution would be great if possible.
The Problem is that I have tried to upgrade AM Professional 2.0.57 to the latest version 2.0.58.
Instead of upgrading my current version I appear to have downloaded the latest edition of the free version so I now have 2 versions installed. The latest free version 2.0.58 with no data files and my original professional 2.0.57 version with all my data intact.
I am reluctant to remove the free version and to try upgrading again as I am also struggling with the backup feature in my Professional version and I am scared of deleting my data if I remove the wrong files.
I can backup files but I dont know how to restore them from the backup location.(Why isn't there a restore button?)(or have I missed it)).
Please can anyone can explain what is the easiest way to backup and restore my data and how to upgrade without deleting my data....in simple language please.
Thanks in anticipation.

| Use Windows Explorer to copy the AccessManager.xdb file from your old installation folder to your new installation folder. |

You will need to re-enter your Professional Edition Product Key details.
Alternatively, you could:
1. Make a backup copy of yor AccessManager.xdb file.
2. Uninstall Access Manager.
3. Remove all installation folders (If you did NOT install the upgrade into the original installation folder then there will be 2 separate installation folders - this is probably the cause of your problem).
4. Re-install Access Manager.
5. Copy your AccessManager.xdb file to the installation folder. |
