I'm not locked out of Access Manager, but locked in! I have Access Manager set not to require entering a password for everyday use, but have forgotten my password so I cannot change it or again lock Access Manager.
How about a feature of asking some security questions which will allow users to reset their passwords? I've 1700 passwords and dread the thought of copy/paste for each of them and all information to once again get "out" of Access Manager! |

| Unfortunately, if the Master Password is forgotten there is not much that can be done. Try a few guesses and variations, and use upper and lower case etc. |

But given my suggestion is a most excellent one, we will be seeing this in an update, I hope.
And on another serious note, it has become difficult for me to recommend Access Manager to people who look at its original release date, see no updates, and for that reason doubt it's kept up in every respect. They compare it to other password managers which they do see being upgraded with new features every few months or so and do not select Access Manager, regardless of quality.
So even if you feel an update is not truly "needed," it is needed for marketing purposes at this point in time. Even the very best of products which haven't substantively changed for a couple of decades have at least changed/updated their packaging to maintain that "fresh" appearance and keep sales going. Access Manager is in dire need of at least that at present. |
