I've been a user of access manager for years, since the version 1x days. I paid for the version 2.0 professional edition a ways back and have been very happy with it, up until now when I switched over to 64 bit Vista.
When I tried to install Access Manager on 64 bit Vista , it wouldn't work. It just kept spitting out error messages at me on startup. The only software I have that didn't work on 64 bit. I came over here to see if anybody else had the same problem and solved it and to my surprise and disappointment, I discovered that Access Manager does not support 64 bit! I would like to know why? Is it going to kill the developers to make Access Manager 64 bit compatible? It's the technology of the future. And it's not like you have to build an entire operating system from scratch.
Now I had to switch over to the free open source KeePass Password Safe 1.13 and manually cut and paste over 134 freaking password accounts with notes. And that sucks. I got better things to do with my time.
Thanks a lot you guys at Access Manager. |
