I attempted to bring up AM and got an error msg about file already in use. When I closed and tried to open again my application reverted back to unregestered version and I can't get into database.
When I re-registered my AM database won't accept my password (It will let me log in using the default and I get just the example database even though I'm using my 130kb database. |

| It sounds like you may have your password database stored in a different location to the installation folder. Use File/Database/Open to open the correct database or copy your backup of the database back to the installation folder. |

I tried using the file/database/open on the 130kb password file and still get the default nopassword login and example database. I then copied my backup password file (130kb) to the installation folder and started AM and still got the example database.
Also am curious as to how the registered version reverted back to the unregistered version. |

Ignore my last post. I was finally able to get to my database stored in the Documents folder by using open/database. What I was doing wrong was not using a capital A for Administrator in username. Thanks for the help.
Still am curious as to how I lost registered version and I noticed after I got my passwords back I lost all my customized options and window size/location.
Also have noticed that every password entry that does NOT have any notes has a special character (different each entry) as the first character of the note. Don't know if this has always been the case or if it just happened when I upgraded to Windows Vista. |

I'm glad it's now working.
The AccessManager.config file stores your Professional Edition details and all your preferences etc. If this file is moved, overwritten or deleted, AM will revert to the Free Edition and use the default preferences.
Some people have reported this special character in the Notes. But we have to been able to reproduce it on any of our Vista PCs. |
