First of all. Excuse me for my poor English, but I think I can explain my big problem.
Now using AM v2.0.5.6. and Win XP Pro.
I am a little in panic.
Since yesterday when I tried to open AM I got:
For one second the normal window before giving in the password. It disappeared directly without a chance to give in the password.
Then a little blue square with a title: "Logon." appears and when I give a "enter(return) the error message "Incorrect username and password"appears. So I can not give in my password.
Then again for only one second the normal AM program starts, but it disappears immediatly.
I uninstalled AM and reinstalled the program, but still the same. I still have my password and the .xdb file so I hope my problem can be solved.
I looked already in this forum, but could not find a solution.
Please help me, for I will be very unhappy to loose all my data in AM. |

The 'Logon' screen is where you enter your password. You can't enter anything on the blue 'splash' window. Wait for the logon screen and enter your password in the password textbox and then press enter (if you have the AM professional edition, you will need to enter your username first).
Also, did you take a look at www.AccessManager.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=11 ? |

Thxs. The problem is solved. It was not possible to wait for the login screen, for it did not appear.
I now discovered that I can give my password in when the blue splash screen is visible. I do not understand it, but I have my data.
Thanks for your attention. |
