The Microsoft .NET Framework is a set of software development and management technologies that are built into the latest versions of Windows. The Framework is a key component of Windows and is the foundation of future software development. For more infomation visit http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/gettingstarted/default.aspx

Access Manager 2 utilises these technologies because we have found them to be considerably more robust, flexible and secure than previous offerings. i.e. ActiveX, COM, COM+, WinAPI etc.

If your PC is current with Windows Update, you will already have this component installed. To check, select 'Add or Remove Programs' from Control Panel and look for 'Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1'.

If you do not have the .NET Framework installed it can be obtained from:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads/framework1_1

or downloaded directly from:
